About Us

Humble Beginnings

My name is Nolin Brashears, and I'm the owner and founder of Brasseur Buildings. I'm a proud Phenix City native, and my main goal in all of this is simple: to help Phenix City reach its full potential and, more importantly in my opinion, not only catch up to, but even surpass our friends across the river.

I've lived in Phenix City my entire life, and to everyone around me it's always been the cliche poor, rundown small-town that no one can escape. For the majority of my life I intended to do just that, escape, but I've realized as of late that that isn't going to do any good for anyone. Running away isn't going to benefit me, and it certainly won't benefit Phenix City, so I've decided to stay, and build Phenix City far past the point that it was at when casinos lined the streets and the Dixie Mafia ran the town. I have big plans for our small town, but I think you'll all like what I have to offer.

My Values

Alabama is one of the most beautiful states in America, and I have no plans to change that any time soon. For far too long I've sat by and watched as foolish developers turn beautiful plots of woodland into concrete nightmares. Why are we tearing down forests to build new apartment complexes and shopping centers when there are so many nearly abandoned buildings just waiting to be rebuilt? I fully intend to do whatever it takes to bring out Phenix City's maximum potential. I'm not interested in filling in ponds to build parking lots, I'm not interested in tearing down forests to build subdivisions, I'm interested in discovering an entirely new way of developing that allows Phenix City to grow and beautify while maintaining the natural areas that make Phenix City beautiful, and in many ways better than Columbus.
